WOODROW WILSON
Twenty-eighth President of the United States. He was born
December 28, 1856 at Staunton, Va. He married Ellen Louise
Axsen of Savannah,. Ga., on June 24, 1885. (She died August 6,
1914.) He married Edith Bolling Galt, December 18, 1915. He
holds the following degrees: A. B. of Princeton 1879; A. M.,
1882. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1881. He
practiced law in Atlanta, Ga., 1882-3. Was president of
Princeton University August 1902 to October 1910. Governor of
New Jersey, January, 1911 to March 1913. Was elected President
on the Democratic ticket November 4, 1912 and re-elected
November 6, 1916.
